Why learn a foreign language?

Learning another language will allow your child to step boldly into the future. Studies have proven that young children who learn a second language tend to have superior reading, writing, analytical and social skills, as well as more extensive vocabularies than their monolingual peers. Students who begin their studies in the elementary grades will: 1) have fewer difficulties in the areas of pronunciation, accent, and mastery of the sound system, and 2) be less self-conscious, resulting in greater confidence speaking the language. Native speakers of Spanish in Spanish classes will also become proficient readers and writers.
